For those people interested in acquiring a Belizean passport, a Belizean passport can be had in approximately four to six weeks. While many such offers, might rightfully be considered scams, Belize is one of a few countries (Nevis, St. Kitts, Dominica, and Grenada) that have actually developed economic citizenship programs.[1]

The number of people allowed to attain such citizenship can be limited each year. This process is limited to five hundred heads of households per year that are considered to have contributed to the Belizean economy significantly.
